From food and internet access, to crisis referrals, mentoring and youth-led activities, our little centre has become a big part of many young lives.
But right now, we are at risk. Without urgent operational funding, it’s becoming harder to keep the doors open. Wick and I have been covering most of the costs ourselves, with occasional help from generous local organisations (thank you every one of you that has contributed), but it’s not sustainable. The needs of our young people are growing and so must the support behind them.
That’s where you come in!
We are asking for letters of support to strengthen our case as we lobby for funding. These letters show decision-makers that our community (and beyond!) stands behind Nimbin Youth and believes in the future of young people.
👉 You don’t have to live in Nimbin to write a letter. All you need is the belief that our young people are important, worthy and deserving of support.
To make it easy, we’ve prepared a simple template letter you can use. You’re welcome to use it as is, tweak it, or write your own message from the heart. Every letter counts.
